Bank of India Timings & Working Hours for Customers

BOI timings depend on the areas they serve. It means timing is different in Urban/Metro and it is different in Semi-Urban/Rural areas.

For Urban/Metro Areas

Bank of India located in Metro or urban branches, the working hours are between 9:45 Am to 4:45 Pm from Monday to Friday. on 1st, 3rd & 5th Saturday of every month, the timings are the same.

For Semi-Urban/Rural Areas

BOI branches are located in Rural or Semi-urban areas, the working hours are between 10:00 Am to 5:00 Pm. On the 1st, 3rd & 5th Saturday of every month, the timings are the same.

Bank of India will be closed on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of every month. It will also be closed for all Sundays.

Bank of India Lunch Timings

BOI lunch timings are also different based on the areas.it means it is different in Metro or Urban areas and it is different in Rural or semi-urban areas.

For Urban/Metro Areas

The Bank Of India lunch timings in metro/urban branches are generally half an hour. It is from 2:30 pm to 3:00 pm. The employee goes for lunch on a rotation basis so that the customers can get help anytime during working hours.

For Semi-Urban/Rural Areas

BOI rural branches, the lunch timings are also the same i.e between 2:30 Pm to 3:00 Pm. However, the counters generally remain closed during lunch hours.

Bank of India NEFT and RTGS Transfer Timings

NEFT stands for National Electronic Funds Transfer. Funds are transferred to the beneficiary account with the other participating Bank using RBI’s NEFT service.

NEFT transactions can be done any time, however, money is credited to the beneficiary account either on the same day or immediately the next working day depending on the time of payment and beneficiary bank.

The RTGS or Real Time Gross Settlement system facilitates the transfer of funds from accounts in one bank to another in “real-time”.
